Another View was produced while traversing small crofting and village communities and their surrounding areas within the Scottish landscape. Looking inward the work resists the temptation and expectation to photograph the more recognised and traditional scenery on offer and focus instead on the small man-made interventions and human traces found within the landscape. With no expectations or conditions applied, the series also allowed the opportunity to continue the process of exploring and investigating different environments while experiencing and enjoying the many unexpected discoveries they offer.
